Visit to Oaksey House in Lambourn

Following our wonderful donation to the Injured Jockeys Fund from the Richard Johnson evening,   we were invited to visit Oaksey House, a state-of-the-art rehabilitation centre for injured jockeys, in Lambourn.

At Oaksey House - the rehabilitation centre for injured jockeys

A group made a visit on February 17th and were shown around the complex by Chicky Oaksey and saw the facilities available there to assist in making jockeys recover fitter and quicker.

The bronze is a statue pictured below is of Chicky’s late husband, Lord John Oaksey, whose foresight was instrumental in the foundation of the Injured Jockeys Fund.
