Mary King needs no introduction – her illustrious eventing career is legendary. She has three Olympic medals to her credit, silver in 2004, bronze in 2008 and silver again in London in 2012.  Her dynasty of King horses have been one of the most successful in the eventing world and of course, daughter Emily is now herself riding at the very top level of the sport.

Two course supper. 

Tables will seat 8 and there will be a maximum of 120 tickets on sale.

MSRC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

Our Annual meeting followed with a talk by                                                                             Anna Risius  MCSP  SRP P.G. Dip Vet Phys, Cat A member of ACPAT

Anna will give us in insight into her work with both human and equine athletes.

Remember! This meeting is YOUR chance to have your say regarding the programme that the Riding Club puts on for you. We need to know what YOU want from YOUR club so please make every effort to attend this meeting.

Please also remember that we are ALWAYS looking for more helpers at events and YOUR help – even if only for a couple of hours – would be invaluable to the Club.

Flat Work Training with AMANDA EDMONDS

There will be three sessions per afternoon: 12 noon – 1pm / 1pm – 2pm / 2pm – 3pm

Amanda is a very popular trainer, and has helped greatly with the dressage divas! She will teach all abilities and has a very good eye for all the problems! She competes regularly herself and is currently riding her horse at Prix St George level and has another youngster in the wings. Book early as these clinics will be in great demand!

 There will be evening sessions:   6 – 7 pm & 7 – 8 pm                                                      (5pm Group if numbers warrant)

Gill is well known to most of you as a trainer and has the distinction of being the only BRC dressage team manager to have fielded both Novice and Open champion teams in the same year!!! Sessions will be in the indoor school.

 There are only 12 places at each – so book early to avoid disappointment!

Sue will continue her very popular clinics through the Winter programme for us. Sue is a much acclaimed UKCC level 3 trainer and is also a highly respected List 1 British Dressage judge. Don’t let that put you off though because Sue is happy to work with all abilities.

sessions last for approx 55 mins. bookings will be taken on a ‘first come’ basis and a waiting list will be kept.

By Popular demand Jane will be taking four sessions, starting at 10am. Each session will last for aproximately 90 minutes. We can tailor classes depening on demand for various activities, but it was thought that they would include some pole excercises and small grids with the later classes having more emphasis on Jumping. focusing on technique and accuracy which would be useful for cross country. All abilities catered for.

DAY CLINIC – ONE DAY CAMP

Two of our very popular trainers have teamed up to give a whole day clinic with the morning being given over to Gill with flat work training and the afternoon to Ed with his pole work sessions. So why not bring a picnic and make a day of it? It would be just like being at Camp!!! Or of course, you may do a single session of your choice if available. Gill will have three sessions for 4 people starting at 10am and Ed will have three sessions for 4 people starting at 1pm. Suitable for all abilities.
