MSRC ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING

OUR 50TH ANNIVERSARY

We will have our Annual General Meeting followed with a talk by Jane Holderness-Roddam who attended The World Equestrian Games 2018.

Remember!!!!  This meeting is YOUR chance to have your say regarding the programme that the Riding Club puts on for you. We need to know what YOU want from YOUR club so please make every effort to attend this meeting.

Please also remember that we are ALWAYS looking for more helpers at events and YOUR help, if even for a couple of hours – would be invaluable to the Club.

A fun evening of General Knowledge questions and an excellent supper for teams of 4 or 5 players. Excellent prizes! Superb Raffle! Donations to charities including World Horse Welfare and the Injured Jockeys Fund will be made from the proceeds. Come and have a really entertaining evening.

Flat Work Training with AMANDA EDMONDS

at Kingfisher Equestrian, Lovington, BA7 7PS

on Wednesdays

There will be three sessions per afternoon: 12 noon – 1pm / 1pm – 2pm / 2pm – 3pm

Amanda is a very popular trainer, and has helped greatly with the dressage divas! She will teach all abilities and has a very good eye for all the problems! She competes regularly herself and is currently riding her horse at Prix St George level and has another youngster in the wings. Book early as these clinics will be in great demand!

Gill is well known to most of you as a trainer and has the distinction of being the only BRC dressage team manager to have fielded both Novice and Open champion teams in the same year!!! Sessions will be in the indoor school.

There will be two sessions 2 – 3 pm & 3 – 4 pm

Ed in response to requests for basic schooling instruction (& pole work if requested), Ed will be taking five sessions during the winter. These will be held in the afternoons & will be ideal for riders wishing to improve their basic skills or riders with novice or young horses. The sessions will be in the indoor school.

Dressage Clinic with

 There are only 12 places at each – so book early to avoid disappointment!

Sue will continue her very popular clinics through the Winter programme for us. Sue is a much acclaimed UKCC level 3 trainer and is also a highly respected List 1 British Dressage judge. Don’t let that put you off though because Sue is happy to work with all abilities.

JANE HOLDERNESS-RODDAM CLINIC

at WHW Glenda Spooner Farm, Nr. Kingsdon TA11 7LA

On SATURDAY 12th JANUARY 2019

Back by popular demand – Jane will be taking four sessions, starting at 10am.

Each session will last for approximately 90 minutes.

All abilities catered for – young horses – novice riders – just be honest and we can fit you in to the correct group and you will undoubtedly enjoy your lesson. It was thought that they would include some pole exercises and small grids with the later classes having more emphasis on the jumping and focusing on technique and accuracy which would be useful for cross country.

Bookings will be taken on a ‘first come’ basis and a waiting list will be kept.
